Watching celebrities slay on red carpets is one of our favorite holiday traditions, and this year’s 2024 London Fashion Awards was the perfect way to celebrate our posh pastime. Held on December 2, the night was a glittering gala of fashion, innovation, and the global stars who make it all look so good.

Chloe and Halle Bailey work the BFA stage and red carpet

The British Fashion Awards started with the ultimate sister style duo, Chloe and Halle Bailey. The Bailey sisters made waves as they showed up and showed out across the Atlantic.
On the red carpet, Chloe gave bold bombshell vibes in a black latex gown that hugged every curve. The body-hugging dress featured a daring, plunging neckline with red tulio accents that oozed confidence and sass.

On the other hand, Halle kept things soft yet fashion-forward in a stunning white corset gown dripping in dramatic disk and pearl fringe. Halle’s dress was couture meets modernity – and we are here for it.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky: Fashion Royalty on the Move
Then there was Rihanna. Because, of course, Rihanna.
The fashion icon rolled up hand-in-hand with her boo, A$AP Rocky, in a look that only she could pull off: a head-turning blue fur ensemble that brought major drama. From her matching feathered hat to the sheer fabric, Rih reminded us of her style versatlity.
And while she served major style on the sidelines, the night was all about ASAP Rocky, who took home the Cultural Innovator Award. He hit the stage with his usual swagger, thanking his mentor, French fashion icon Michèle Lamy, and calling the award “long overdue.”

Issa Rae is very demure in black velvet, snags a BFA Award for storytelling
Let’s talk about Issa Rae, who traveled across the pond, too. The multi-talented powerhouse received the Pandora Leader of Change Award for storytelling and creativity.
From founding Hoorae Media to creating Insecure, Issa’s impact on culture (and our TV binge-watching habits) is undeniable. Issa kept her red carpet look demure and mindful. She wore a strapless black velvet gown and a natural braided updo.
