If there’s one thing Nelly and his queen Ashanti know how to do, it’s to celebrate each other and have a good time! The hip-hop legend celebrated his 50th birthday this past weekend with Ashanti by his side at a western-themed Halloween bash that fans are still talking about.
Held at Guardian Works in West Midtown, the Nov. 1 event was everything: complete cowboy hats, leather fits, and Black love on full display. We love to see it!

Nelly and Ashanti came through serving in monochromatic, all-black western fits. Who doesn’t love a couple that matches each other’s fly?
Nelly rocked a leather vest, chaps, a cowboy hat, and boots, giving us “Country Grammar” couture. Ashanti, who recently gave birth to her first child with Nelly, had her post-baby curves on full display.
She slayed in a pleated leather mini skirt, lace bodysuit underlay, and thigh-high boots. Her makeup was soft and glam.

Nelly’s party was packed with Atlanta’s finest, including stars like T.I. and Big Boi, who didn’t waste any time hitting the dance floor or the mic.
Pictures show Nelly’s “Hallowestern” party was filled with laughter, love, and even horses trotting around the venue to take the event over the top.
Reflecting on the significance of his party, Nelly told The Atlanta Voice, “This is a big one. I didn’t really get a chance to have birthday parties until I could afford to throw them myself.”

Ashanti throws Nelly a glitz and glamour golden birthday bash.
But the celebrations didn’t stop there. Ashanti also threw an unforgettable gold-themed party for Nelly in Las Vegas at Tao.
Everything reportedly shimmered in gold—from the decor to the drinks to the guest’s outfits. Viral social media captures also show Ashanti singing “Happy Birthday” to her husband.
