Tryna rain, trine rain on the thunder

Tell the storm I’m new

I’m a wall; come and march on the regular

Painting white flags blue…

Freedom, cut me loose!

Freedom! Where are you?

Cause I need freedom too!

I break chains all by myself and won’t let my freedom rot in hell.

The crowd erupted as the vice president hit the podium with the catchy tune behind her. “Kamala, Kamala, Kamala! they said emphatically.

From Beyoncé’s Freedom to citing her background: Kamala Harris is ready.

Vice President Harris returned their cheers with a smile and quickly jumped into an engaging speech about her readiness for the race ahead.

“So, as many of you know, before I was elected as vice president before I was elected as United States senator, I was elected the Attorney General of California, and before that, I was a courtroom prosecutor, she said. “In those roles, I took on perpetrators of all kinds.

She then took a jab at former President Trump, saying her background gives her unique insight into “perpetrators.”

The new Democratic candidate continued, “Predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain. So hear me when I say, I know Donald Trump’s type.”
