Cynthia Erivo and Jennifer Hudson took us back to Broadway in this clip from an upcoming episode (Wednesday, November 27) of The Jennifer Hudson Show. Cynthia has been on the promo trail promoting Wicked, which hit theaters today, and stopped by to chat with her old co-star J Hud. The duo played Celie and Shug Avery in the award-winning musical The Color Purple. Their reunion wouldn’t have been complete without a display of their powerhouse vocals and a clip from their emotional duet, What About Love?

We watched Cynthia and her co-star Ariana Grande bring their fashion A-game to red-carpet premieres worldwide. From the illusion Thom Browne dress Cynthia wore to Ariana’s dedication to Glinda pink, we’re fully invested in all things Wicked.
The arrival of Wicked has fans of the whimsical film showing up to the theater dressed in pink and green getups. Some have gone as far as wearing Glinda or Elphaba costumes—green facepaint included. We’d expect nothing less after fans flocked to social media in anticipation of the film. TikTok is full of fans showing their reactions to certain parts of the film and singing along to the breathtaking soundtrack.
